Note:	If you combine a Helmet of the Fallen King with a Soul Emerald you will have the power of the enchanted Helmet of the Fallen King forever. It is currently the best helmet in-game. The helmet provides a small white light. The Soul Emerald is obtainable as one of the rewards you can choose (out of three) after finishing the The Plaguebringers of Abukir quest.
