Method:
This article may contain quest spoiling information! You will need Rope, Shovel, Key 3620 and Key 3666, Apple The first thing you need to do is go to the Prison in Minoras.  This is the new route to the new mintwallin Talk to A Prisoner, to get the key to his room (Key 3620), you need to go to the barracks (here ). You then need to give 7 apples to the Prisoner to change them for the key to the quest room.  The Prisoner can be found here , on floor +2: Ask him for the riddle, then say "PD-D-KS-P-PD" followed by many yes until you get the key. You will receive silver Key 3666.   Ways to get to the mad mage room quest This is the path to the Mad Mage room from the surface. You will walk past this room on your way to Minoras. Go tho the Eschen ancient temple (here ) and go down 2 times. Now just follow the red path in the image below: After going down the stairs on picture 3, just go the only direction there is (another stairs going down). Again, after going down the hole on picture 2 above, keep going the only direction there is until you get to the next room:   This is the path to the Mad Mage room from Minoras. Go to the stairs at the entrance of Minoras and follow the picture below: Once you go upstairs, just keep going further since the rooms have only one direction, until you get to the room in the picture below, follow the red path. Note: If you want to go back by walking, go up this ladder and go to the hole marked in the image below, it will take you two levels below in a room with some war wolves, then just go up and follow the same way you came. Once you go pass the expertise door go down the ramp but BEWARE you will face 2 Dragon Lords, a Watcher, 4 Revenants and 3 Crypt Shamblers. After you clear the room, go to the south and use the Key 3666 on the locked door. Go down the stairs past the locked door and you will face 6 Revenants and a few Crypt Shamblers at the north. Before you go down the ladder at the north, BE CAREFUL, there will be an Arcanist waiting at the reward room. Kill him and take the rewards. Note: You can look around there, once a day you can find Energy Ring, Silver Dagger, Mana Fluid, Blank Rune, Throwing Star and food.   Note: Imperial Faction  Mission 4 of The Imperial Faction requires you to do this quest in order to obtain one of the runes needed for the task.  The rune is located in an orc corpse in the same room as key 3667. In order to get to the rune room, go north of the reward room and search for the pickhole in the image below: Once you go down you will face another 5 Revenants, you can head directly to another hole going down, which leads to the rune room with some Rats on it.
