This article may contain quest spoiling information! First, talk to Grant in Eschen about a mission. You can find him here. Conversation with Grant Player: hi Grant: Oh, please come in, Player. What do you need? Player: mission Grant: Looking for a job? I could use some help, you see, I am selling all kinds of items for adventurers, but not many people know that I used to be one of them too... Grant: During one of my quests a year ago me and Marik found a very suspicious object under the Stone Temple. It was a strange aquamarine cube. It was very small, but incredibly heavy... Grant: I told him we should leave it where we found it but he was not listening to me. We had to leave our equipement in a chest in order to even lift it... Grant: Then the object that was in his hand pushed him to the side into the rocks and the passage collapsed leaving him buried forever... Grant: It happened in a fraction of a second I couldn't even react to help him. Thats why I abandoned the life of adventure and live a peaceful life as a merchant... Grant: I do not want to return to that place ever again, but it would be a waste to leave such good equipement in the temple... Grant: Perhaps you can help me and go to the lowest level of that place and bring it to me, it's inside the chest. There shouldn't be any dangerous creatures there too. Will you help me? Player: yes Grant: Great! If you dont know where the Stone Temple is then leave Eschen through the east gate and go until you see the mountains of Mittenhoff. Then head south until you reach city Dynahall... Grant: The Stone temple will be west from it. Go now, and thank you once again. Retrieving Grant's Equipment Grant, who used to be an adventurer, during exploring the Stone Temple together with his companion they have found a valuable but extremely heavy object. In order to even lift it they had to leave their equipment in a nearby chest, which still remains untouched. He asked you to retrieve his old equipment. Head to the Stone Temple, which can be found here. The chest with Grant's backpack can be found on floor -2. Retrieving Grant's Equipment You have found a backpack full of old equipment that belongs to Grant. Go back to Grant and get your reward. Conversation with Grant Player: hi Grant: Oh, please come in, Player. What do you need? Player: mission Grant: Have you found my old equipment? Player: yes Grant: That's great! Let me see it... Grant: It looks untouched, thank you! I'm glad that such a good equipment didn't go to waste. I need to reward you, here, take it! Retrieving Grant's Equipment (completed) You retrieved and gave back Grant his old equipment. For you help he rewarded you with some experience points.
