The way to Arses:

The way to Arses

Note: You will need a friend to get to Arses, there is a hole you need to be roped up to get to him and you cannot do it alone.

To begin the quest, you will need to find Arses in the Sphinx Tomb north-east of Osaris:

Right-click  the tail of the sphinx to squeeze it and remove the statues in front of the pyramid left of the sphinx:

Go to the front of the pyramid and right-click the wall as indicated on the image below to open the tomb:

An entrance will open up at the front of the sphinx:

Proceed into the tomb, you will reach a room with a few Revenants and some pillars. Right-click the left middle pillar to open some bars further north:

Now proceed as indicated in the images below:

Once you go down the hole and a bit north at the end of the previous step, you will find yourself before a maze.
The maze is filled with Forgotten Pharaohs and Deathslicers,you can face up to 3 of them at once during this part.
It is recommended to bring a blocker if you're not a knight (you will need a friend to pass the next part anyway).
The Deathslicers can be pushed, so you just need to run by them.

Once you have come up to the end of the maze as shown in the previous image, follow the path as depicted below:

You will now find yourself at a spot where you will need a friend if you want to proceed:
one person should go down the hole while the other stays at the north side and ropes them up,
the other person will come up south of the hole and then they can rope up the second person.

Now carry on following the path as depicted below:

Once you rope up here, you will find yourself in a circular part of a large room.
DO NOT go east, there is an Undead Dragon there.
Go west, you will face 5 Restless Skeletons which you can kill 1 by 1 by getting into a corner further to the west.
Arses is down a sewer grate to the west.

Go down the sewer grate in the west part of the room to find Arses.
 

Mission 1 - Pharaoh's Ankh

Speak to Arses, answer 'yes' to his question, listen to his story, agree again by saying 'yes'.
He will tell you about an ancient Pharaoh's Ankh he could use to defeat the undead inside the tomb.
Follow the path depicted in the images below to find your way to the Ankh's location.

Go back up to the floor with the Restless Skeletons and go to the north of the room to Levitate up at this spot:

You will now find yourself before the maze again, follow the path to the lever to open the way to the ankh:

Find and pull the lever as indicated below:

Now make your way from the lever back to the maze same way you came, and through the maze to find the ankh:

Now follow the way back out of the maze, to the exit you came to the first time when you were going to Arses.

Turn in the Pharaoh's Ankh to him and you can move on to the next mission.

Mission 2 - The Energy Seal

Arses will tell you about three 'rituals' that need to be completed to restore the Pharaoh's Ankh to its full potential.

He will ask you to bring him the following items for the energy seal:

Once you bring him all of the items, he will give you the task of defeating:

Forgotten Pharaohs inhabit the halls of the Sphinx tomb and the surrounding caves.

Once you complete the task, come back to Arses and he will reward you with 400,000 Experience Points.

Mission 3 - The Fire Seal

Now he will ask you to bring him the following items for the fire seal:

After you bring him all the items, he will give you the task of defeating:

The Blood Sphinx spawn can be found on the south side of the main tomb floor:

Once you turn in the Blood Sphinx task, Arses will reward you with 500,000 Experience Points and allow you to sell Blood Sphinx Claws to him for 8500 gold each.

Mission 4 - The Poison Seal

Arses will ask you to bring him the following items for the final seal:

The Sphinxes spawn can be found on the east side of the main tomb floor:

After turning in the Sphinx task, Arses will reward you with 500,000 Experience Points and the base Pharaoh Outfit.

Arses will now also buy Sphinx Claws from you for 3000 gold each.

Mission 5 - First Addon (Hood)

Arses will now ask you to bring the following items for him while he works on the Hood for your outfit:

Note: You DO NOT need to be on this mission to craft the Armor and Helmet from Hasain! Any character can buy them once!

Mission 6 - Second Addon (Scepter/Sceptre)

Arses will now ask you to bring the rarests items from the Omens of Yehsha to make for you the Scepter/Sceptre for your outfit:
